Donald J. Burns Council 13588 asks you…
Will you join us on life’s greatest adventure to discover the man God calls you to be? Become a Knight. You are invited to put your faith in action.
Being a Knight affords you opportunities to support your parish, give back to your community, grow your faith and gain exclusive access to our top-rated insurance program to protect your family. Knights are a band of brothers, a global network of “Practical Catholic Men” dedicated to unselfishly serve God, our church, and our neighbors.
The Knights uphold four key principles as pillars of the order:
CHARITY
Our Catholic faith teaches us to “Love thy neighbor as thyself.” There is no better way to experience love and compassion than by helping those in need, a call we answer every day, both them spiritually & materially.
UNITY
None of us is as good as all of us. Members of the Knights of Columbus all know that – together – we can accomplish far more than any of us could individually. So we stick together… we support one another.
FRATERNITY
We are a Catholic men’s fraternal benefit society that was formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families.
PATRIOTISM
The Knights are proud of our devotion to God and country, and believe in standing up for both. Whether it’s in public or private, the Knights remind the world that Catholics support their nations and are amongst the greatest citizens.
